Students who earned the reward (5 or fewer days absent) will be heading to **Midway Bowling** for an afternoon of bowling fun, a math lesson, and (most importantly) pizza. Because nothing says “great job this semester” like knocking down pins, adding up the scores and eating cheesy goodness!
🎯 Who made the cut?
• JH/HS: **11 out of 24 students qualified**
• Elementary: **29 out of 35 students qualified** — WOW!
If you get a chance, ask your child(ren) if they made the cut — we’ve got some proud bowlers ready to roll!
Expect:
🎳 Lots of strikes (and a few gutter balls)
🍕 Pizza power-ups
😂 Smiles, laughs, and friendly competition
It’s our way of celebrating all the hard work, great attendance, and awesome effort from Semester ONE.
Thank you — we hope this will be a fun and motivating reward for our students.

From bolts to brainpower, they turned a pile of parts into a moving, working masterpiece. There may have been a few “why isn’t this working?!” moments (because that’s real science 😄), but with persistence, problem-solving, Mr. Johnson, and a whole lot of determination, this robot is officially up and running!
Future engineer? Inventor? World-changing scientist? We wouldn’t be surprised one bit! 🚀
Great job putting those science skills to work — keep building, keep experimenting, and keep being awesome! 👏

Waterford is a **research-based early learning and education program** for young children designed to build strong foundational skills in **reading, math, and science**.

We’re proud of the effort they’re putting in and can’t wait to see them represent our school—great job and keep up the hard work!

This is a huge accomplishment and a true reflection of your dedication, responsibility, and commitment to your education. Showing up every day, on time, and ready to learn takes effort, consistency, and determination. Your hard work does not go unnoticed, and it plays a big role in your academic success and personal growth.
We are incredibly proud of you for making attendance a priority and setting a positive example for your classmates.
We had 25 Elementary Students, 7 Junior High Students, and 5 High Students who qualify for the attendance incentive trip (Less then 5 absences in Semester 1).
(Movie in Bismarck, here we come)
Keep up the outstanding work as we move into Semester 2—your commitment today builds the foundation for success tomorrow! 👏📚✨

Lots of smiles, laughter, and confidence building all around. This is what school community looks like—older students leading, younger students shining, and everyone learning together. Love moments like this!** ❤️

Students are actively applying the scientific method by forming hypotheses, testing their designs, observing outcomes, and making adjustments based on their results.
This hands-on learning experience highlights science at its best—engaging, problem-solving focused, and student-driven. Through trial, error, and collaboration, students are deepening their understanding of engineering concepts while strengthening critical thinking and perseverance skills. Great Job Kiddos

Selfridge 7th and 8th grade students have been hard at work in Science using their Robot Kits, and the learning has been exciting to see!** These hands-on activities allow students to apply problem-solving, critical thinking, and collaboration skills in a meaningful way. Building, testing, and refining their robots gives students the opportunity to learn by doing—because hands-on learning truly is the best.
A big thank you to **Mr. Johnson** for providing engaging, high-quality learning experiences that spark curiosity and keep students actively involved. Great work all around!
