On **Wednesday, September 30**, Selfridge Public School will wear orange to honor children who attended residential schools, remember those who never returned home, and recognize the lasting impact on families and communities. Every child matters.
**Our schedule for the day:**
• Speaker Ricky White: K–6 in the morning and grades 7–12 in the afternoon
• Community March: 11:25 a.m.

Our Junior High students are working hard using **Amira**, our online reading intervention program designed to help students improve their reading fluency, accuracy, vocabulary, and comprehension.
Students work directly with Amira to practice reading skills at their individual level while receiving immediate feedback and support.

1st Quarter Midterms were handed out to our **JH/HS students today**. Parents and guardians, please ask your student to show you their midterm report and take a few minutes to review their progress together.

* Dental services are provided in partnership with **Bridging the Dental Gap**
* Staff includes a dentist, dental hygienists, and a dental assistant
* Families generally complete consent and health-history paperwork beforehand
* The program can bill **North Dakota Medicaid/CHIP** when applicable; confirm current costs and eligibility directly with the coordinator
* Schools must provide suitable parking and help distribute and collect forms
